Job Description :


 

Context: We are seeking a specialist resource to plan and implement our social media strategy over the next 6 months. We want to be able to help our brokers to grow and manage their business using social media, to create new platforms to connect with customers and brokers.  We also want to train and upskill our people, giving our business the capability to reach influential and opinion leaders within different customer and broker markets. This is an exciting and challenging role, with plenty of scope for the right individual.  It’s the first time we have had a resource purely focused on this aspect of marketing, and we look forward to the delivery of results and ideas this person can produce.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement the social media strategy
  • Coordinate with cross-company stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of the strategy
  • Encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all our products and services
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Sales and Product development teams (the Take to Market division) to ensure awareness and benefits of social media tools
  • Train up Marketing specialists in the technical aspects of social media
  • Project manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
  • Manage our presence in social networking sites including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube & Twitter
  • Support our broker community to adopt to new social media tools for lead generation and promotion
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs
  • Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results

Essential Qualifications / Experience:  

  • Must have previously worked in marketing environment with proven track record in social media
  • Degree or equivalent in relevant marketing discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
  • Experience in how they can be deployed effectively to meet business needs
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrable influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation
  • Ability to take the lead and guide others when necessary
  • High degree of personal motivation
